Nice place with a seasonal outdoor pool, free wi-fi, and a coffee shop. The staff even helped with a wake-up call during my first stay, which I appreciated. I'll definitely return for Christmas!

Staff was very helpful. Very good location near everything, clean rooms, wireless internet.
I would widen breakfast options and install ac where there is none.

excellent staff, very clean
too noisy neighbours (group of germany teenagers who will not let you sleep all night). TV not in each room and paid airconditioner

Rooms are spotlessly clean with a great shower not typical in many places. The quirky pool area offers ample space without the hassle of fighting for a sunbed.
Street noise can be disruptive, especially at night, with no soundproofing on the street-side rooms. There's a lack of common lounge areas and restrictions on visitors, which might turn off some guests. Minor amenities like a toilet brush or freezer in the fridge would improve the experience.

Newly renovated and air conditioned room, immaculately clean hotel in general.
Units with very comfortable bed. Lovely pool, parking nearby.

The stuff is very friendly and appreciational. Additional thanks to Pol and sorry for our not always good behaviour.
Towels could have been changed more than once a week, and the soap ran out in a week. But inspite of this fact the rooms and lining are very clean. And the pillows are not very comfortable (for me), but it's okay anyway

Calella vibes 🌊✨
Had such a lekker time at this spot! The room was fresh and comfy with a nice balcony to sip on some drinks. The pool area is chillin'. Paul and the team are really nice.
Just a bit noisy outside at times, but nothing we couldn't handle.

Everything was perfect. I stayed beyond my original plan as I liked it so much. Pol, the owner, was incredibly accomodating, as well as other staff members. The room ( a studio apartment ) was all new, very modern, and tastefully decorated. Everything worked perfectly. It was like home, I did not want to leave, I was so comfortable there. Nice balcony with a partial view of the sea was relaxing. The large walk in shower with a rainfall shower head was a daily event to look forward to. This has a nice new elevator that worked very well. Everything was excellent.

A hidden gem with a fantastic pool area. The family vibe here is amazing, and the hosts go above and beyond to welcome you. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a nice balcony. You can't beat the location-super close to the beach and local bars!

The staff simpley didn't understand that I expected royal treatment. The street noise was unbearable, surely they could've soundproofed the room? And the pool was tiny, not what you'd expect from a hotel in a busy area. I almost left a good review but decided against it when I didn't receive a free upgrade. Pathetic.

The host was a very friendly, helpful man. The hotel was very tidy and clean at all times.
The bed was uncomfortable. Some noise from outside during the night.

Would like to recommend this hotel for those, who want to spend holiday or short break in Costa Brava. Easy access to Girona Airport and Barcelona, located very close to beach, shops, pubs, etc. Hotel is nice, clean and quiet, with pool, lift, restaurant etc. Daily maid with towel change and room cleaning. We enjoyed every minute there, left relaxed. Staff and owner (Paul) speaks English and were very friendly and helpful. Morning coffee and basic breakfast could be included, otherwise excellent! Hotel Mediterrani Express is perfect for young or mature travellers and also for families.
